Co-organised with the Don Bosco Youth Services (DBYS) – Mumbai, COPeace is a two-part event comprising a mock COP discussion and a ‘Garden of Peace’ competitive assemblage by groups. The event aims to conscientise the youth, often missing or underrepresented in discourse and decision-making circles, through active and hands-on involvement.
Through COP-based debates, we hope to increase awareness about issues at stake at the climate COP30 in Brazil and get the youth to utilise communication and diplomacy skills. Youth then work together in groups of 4-6 to assemble a ‘Garden of Peace’ using discarded objects and waste material. Through this, we would like to foster a sense of responsibility for sustainability, promote creative and theme-based critical thinking, co-operation and in-person interaction. Creative assemblages will remain on display for a week.

The AOE is conducting sessions on our Vision 2030 for the Archdiocese of Bombay to transform into a Laudato Si' Diocese. Parishes, religious houses and institutions are requested to kindly get in touch to schedule a session.
Sessions for the Online Certificate Course for Eco Ambassadors - 2025 are scheduled on all Saturdays in September and on 11th and 18th October. Registrations closed.
